ATHLETICS

On Monday room 11 had a tonne of fun competing in the annual Muritai school athletics day. Although all the students performed exceptionally well there were five individuals that stood out from the crowd. Well done to Emma, Mathieson, Ella, Macey, Pablo and Hannah who will all go on to represent the year 5 and 6 students at the Central Zone athletics competition this month. 

Hannah (Year 6 girl's competition): 2nd place shot put, 3rd place discus throw

Ella (Year 5 girl's competition): 3rd place discus throw, 3rd place high jump

Pablo (Year 5 boy's competition): 1st place high jump

Mathieson (Year 6 boy's competition): 1st place sprints, 3rd place shot put

Emma (Year 5 girl's competition): 2nd place high jump

Macey (Year 5 girl's competition): 1st place sprints, 1st place long jump
